Cultural Activities
Be immersed in an authentic cultural experience by Traditional Owners of the Coastal Plain region (including the Perth metro region). Our enthusiastic team believe in delivering engaging, hands-on, quality experiences to all participants. We strive to inspire by sharing our ancient language, ecological knowledge, history and geography education.
Our cultural experiences are designed to be delivered to small groups and at community events (eg. during NAIDOC Week, Reconciliation Week, Worlds Indigenous Day, Sorry Day).
- Artefacts making
- Ochre making
- Hut and rope making
- Spear throwing
- Boomerang throwing
- Firestick making
- Sand yarning (identifying animal, reptiles and bird tracks)
- Language workshops (learn birds, animals, reptiles, fishes, seasons, counting, numbers, colours, body parts)
- Damper making
- Traditional food sampling (kangaroo stew)
Please note: A fire pit and fire are often required to undertake an activity. Half day and full day workshops can be tailored to suit your needs. We guarantee to deliver the most memorable and educational cultural experience of a lifetime!
