Mobile Cultural Exhibitions

Learn the rich diversity of Western Australia’s Aboriginal tribes, our languages, and peoples. Our static cultural exhibitions are designed for shopping centres, libraries and conferences.

Each exhibition is designed around three major themes:

  • Celebrating the ancient Aboriginal cultures from Western Australia
  • Discovering the ancient past through touching, feeling, connecting
  • Exploring traditional Aboriginal worldview, and in a historical and contemporary context

Djoona’s exhibitions can feature traditional huts, artefacts, cut out animals, fire pits and flags, simulating old Aboriginal real-life settings.

If required, Djoona can provide staff to man the exhibition and interact with visitors. They can facilitate storytelling, sand yarning (identify animal tracks), and using sand to tell stories. Visitors can also experience one-on-one activities, such as artefacts making and ochre face painting.

Woven throughout the cultural exhibition is reconciliation, cultural harmony, and appreciation for all Australians. We can tailor a mobile exhibition for your next event.

We welcome your enquiry to see how the Djoona team may be able to assist you. Please get in touch with us for a friendly chat.
